[Roadsters] 50th anniversary

I think everyone is missing the point. I don't care what execs think because I
already know. Therefor it is the public that needs the info and then they will
make their desires known. Example, poll question to the public: "Would you
consider a Honda 2000 sized Datsun Roadster at a lighter weight with a bit
more power that gets 40 MPG and is affordable like a Miata?" In other words a
Ford Focus with style.
So I'm guessing the answer would be Yes. And what if the new Datsun market in
Indonesia etc said Yes? Then they could make it and bring it here. Nissan
plays it so safe that they are getting beat by everyone and Hyundai and maybe
Kia are next in line to do so.
Even if the Roadster did not sell alot it would give the company some style
points. They don't sell alot of Ferraris either. Yes the Z is nice but a
smaller entry level car is what captures young buyers on a budget.
Also the Nissan marketing sucks. Bland and boring.
If there is any press at Solvang spread the word.
If Nissan was smart they WOULD provide the space for a Datsun meet to help
kick off the Datsun brand resurgence and get some press as well. Marketing.
Hello.

one of its iterations. so if I'm corporate, and I'm totally profit oriented,
why would I try to bring publicity on a product that no one knows about, and
is no longer made? again, I'm just playing devil's advocate here. what's in
it for them?
