[Roadsters] Oil Pump Primer

What I do is pull the coil wire and turn the engine over with the starter
motor, this will pressurize the system somewhat and get the oil around the
engine before you fire it up.  I also run full synthetic oil plus a quart of
Lucas Oil Stabalizer.  Good Luck.

You're going to want to get oil to the cam followers, cam, etc.  Only way to
do that is to spin the pump & pressurize the oil system.
