Can it be done? Sure, but i doubt it would be cheaply? I seriously doubt
it. Off the top of my head I don't remember if the R-16 was offered with an
AT, but if so it'd be tough to find one now. It might be easier to swap in
a KA-24 with AT from a truck since the KA swap is fairly well documented.

With enough money you can do pretty much anything,
