[Roadsters] cutting carpet

Oliver,

I'd put it face down, as Gary suggests, and cut through the backing with a 
box cutter.  I would place it on a piece of plywood, and use another piece 
of plywood (or other straightedge) on top to guide the knife.  You can use a 
heavy-duty scissors to cut curves.
