Talk to Keith Williams. His Dad rebuilt mine 68s radio for significantly less
than that (well under $100, but charges may have changed). Then I got a
Redi-rad radio adapter from Brew city in Milwaukee. It is a transmitter that
plugs into the antenna input and allows you to play an ipod or portable cd
player through your radio. Pretty cheap and took my about 30 mins to install,
and I am not an expert at all. I did a write up on www.311s.org in the
product reviews section.
