While we are on the subject of Fuel Gauges; is it possible to remove the fuel
Gauge or the Speedometer without removing the dash board? I'm afraid of the
dash board.

Group,

My 68 L18 doesn't have a fuel gauge in it so I'm planning on installing an
aftermarket (Equus) fuel gauge. They sell 3 types with different ohm
ratings. I called the factory and the service/support people thought that
the 8362 GM unit would work but they couldn't guaranty that it would. Does
anyone know the ohm range on our cars?

The three ohm choices I have are as follows:

#8361: Empty 73 - Full 10

#8362: Empty 0 - Full 90

#8363: Empty 240 - Full 33

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Steve Harvey
