Hey Craig, I'm not a potential buyer unfortunately, but I was just struck by
your email, mostly by the "I'm just not having fun anymore."  I'm really sorry
to hear that you feel your Roadster time has come to an end, as clearly it has
been a major passion of yours for a very long time, and thanks to you a number
of very important or interesting cars have been saved.  I'm not trying to talk
you out of it, but I hope that, as you restructure your life, you will find
time for a Roadster and some of the joys this particular little car can bring.
I know that that existed within you sometime in the past (witness your
collection!) but that some of the negatives of such an endevor have darkened
your passion for the cars.  I hope you are able, after a time, to relight that
interest in a way that does bring you joy, cause I know I personally will
never let go of my Roadster until the day I die... it represents that much of
a "defining moment" in my life.  May you find yours again.

I have buildings full of roadster parts, parts cars, and nice projects. would
like to sell it all to someone and do different things with my life. a few
67.5 2000's, '68 2000 race roadster with BRE prepared engine, 1500 #3, the
prototype 1500- only prototype still known in existence- the 240hp
supercharged roadster, 20k original mile '70 2000, 35k original mile '67
1600,
23k original mile '68 1600...about 40 roadsters here plus all the stored
parts. probably about 15 each 2L and 1600 engines, same for 4 and 5spds
B ...I'm not having fun anymore, has always been a labor of love more than a
