[Roadsters] 67.5 solex and SU

  Read the carb section in an old Rosing Sun catalog and it agrees with Ron.
Solex were installed in some 200 '67 roadsters in order to race them.  After
that they were installed in some, but not all 2000s.
  But the part number in the Ebay ad is still listed as a SU part number??

Solex carbs were a dealer installed option in the US on 67 1/2 2L cars. 
As I understand it all USA dealerships received SU carbed cars. The 
dealer could install a cam and carbs at the owner's request but due to 
the changes made for the 1/2 year (safety, emissions etc) the 1/2 year 
cars weren't allowed with Solex, different that Canadian cars.
