[Roadsters] Removing the cam

Thanks all for the really good info on cleaning the engine after machining. So it appears that none of the soaps? would harm the bores? I wondered about anything too acidic, "etching" the surfaces. 
Oiling after cleaning I assume is regular oil. 
Then once assembly begins the "assembly lube" is used. What is recommended for that?
