Hello all,
Do a Google on "Haystack SU Carb Needles". It is an old program for
selecting needles. It also contains a database of all of the British SU
needles.
I took the data and imported it into Excel to sort through it.
My graph uses the stock N-17 needle as a baseline. The distance above
the baseline is how much richer the needles are than stock. The numbers
across the bottom are the station number. Starting at the base is station 1
and stations are 1/8" apart.

While Bruce is off for Thanksgiving, I wanted to get a head start on needle
choices from Datsun. Do any of the Roadster folk know of a place with the
various needles measured out? Google turned up the Keith Williams write up
and his comparison of needles, but I can't really make sense of his graph
and would like to just get the raw numbers (or his graph explained).
Thanks,
Julian
