[Roadsters] Adhesive

Thanks for the input on adhesives. I purchased 3-M 08008 super and 77 spray.
Both worked great so I'm one small step closer to a completed restoration.
When it's time to install the new dashboard cover can I assume that I should
use the 3-M 77 spray on both the new cover inside surface and the original
dash surface? I don't trust the adhesive that came with the new cover.
