[Roadsters] New Transmission in, now a few questions

The speedometer runs off a gear in the transmission. There are different 
gears for different rear end ratios. I don't know much about them, other 
than that they can be swapped out with the trans in the car. There may 
be something in the 311s pages listing which gear is for which rear end.

This gear will also affect the odometer.

Just to see if the problem is actually in the speedometer, drive at a 
steady 60 mph and and clock how long it takes to go a mile as shown on 
the odometer. If it takes 60 seconds, the problem is not with the 
speedometer
