[Roadsters] Alternator removal question

I pulled the good alternator off my 69 1600 parts car, it was easy as the
hood & grill were already off & the radiator came out easy, I was surprised
to see the 19 year old coolant still looked green, I would have expected a
pool of rusty fluid to come flowing out as the car has sat dormant since
1990. Since this alternator is going into my 68 1600 in the stock location,
it does just seem easier to pull the hood, grill & radiator to get to the
front of the engine. Looks like an all day project...oh well, it's my day
off & the weather is beautiful here in Illinois. If all goes well, I'll
celebrate the swap with an evening ride into the Midwest sunset :)
