Thanks to everyone who replied to my inquiry into on demand hot water heaters. I have tried to reply individually to say thanks but don't want to miss any one. 

I have loads of reading to do now!

If any one is interested in a summary, of sorts, let me know. I have a couple requests so I will compile it all into word and can forward an attachment as needed.
