Gary;

Have you removed the splash plate that's on the underside of the body 
frame/firewall that limits access to the starter?

If you have NOT, then it might be a good idea to do so.  By doing that you 
gain a ton of access space right above the exhaust tubing and below the 
SU's.

If you need, I can post pictures of what I did.
