[Roadsters] Left turn, dead roadster

There was a guy on the 311s.org with a similar problem earlier this year.
Took several months before he finally discovered (by accident) that it was a
faulty coil.

OK, this is weird. A definite head scratcher.

When turning left even at a fairly slow speed, my engine dies. I've looked
for loose wires. I've got a new fuel pump. New fuel lines and filter. My
fuel pressure is a pretty steady 4.5 PSI. This started about a week ago. I
don't have ANY clue what it may be. No issues turning right. 

This is a U20 Solex.

Any clues or ideas where to start?
