[Roadsters] Two gas cap questions

I cannot find the key code to get a key cut for a gas cap. Some one please remind me of that. 

Also, has anyone out there had a gas cap re-chromed? I have one taken apart (thanks Gary!) and am still considering (months later) having it done. But I wonder if I will be able to put it back together after the chroming process. Doesn't the chroming process do the entire piece on all sides, exposed surfaces, etc?
