If you've got fuel flow to the carbs - next check the float bowls. On the
SU's, there are small screens inside the banjo fittings which can get
clogged. The needle valves are also a potential suspect.
Weirdest one I've had was after replacing a fuel line... I neglected to
blow the new line out with air before installing it. It had some sort of
debris inside which ended up lodged in the short rubber fuel hose BETWEEN
the two float bowls. Caused enough of a blockage that I'd get a
progressively worse - to the point of not running - misfire as the rear carb
slowly became fuel starved.
I'd check that line and the screens in the banjo fittings.
Good Luck

I completely rebuilt my engine, and had the carbs rebuilt. The
distributor is new.
Today, I took her out, and she ran very well, for about a mile, then
she started acting up. First, she would not idle, then I had to keep
the rpms above 2000 or she'd stall, but the time I got home, another
mile later, she was barely running.
