[Roadsters] Have you seen this item on eBay

[Gary and Cindy Ault]

Did it actually sell?  Or fail to achieve a reserve?  Looks like the same ad by the same person -- just without the incriminating trunk photo.  I'm not sure whether the seller knows the car has been repainted, but I don't know how he/she could not.  If the seller is trying to construe this car as "original" from a paint standpoint, I wonder what else he/she is not disclosing.

I see some guy from Germany is considering the car.  There is/was what appears to be a much nicer '69 2000 with a Buy it Now price of ~$13,000.  It looks like a much safer bet to me.

I think this is the one that sold for something like $8200?

It's the same add but, unless I missed it, the picture of the open trunk
with rust showing underneathe and around the trunk mat is now gone. This is
a funky deal!
