[Roadsters] Water Pipe

I cleaned mine off the other day, and it was in OK shape.  But I was thinking
of just making one out of copper pipe and bending it at one end with a pipe
bender, and the sweating a 'T' and bend the other end.  This would be close to
the same shape as an original.

My question is, how hot does it get above the exhaust manifold where this
would be?  This idea would only work if it didn't get too hot to melt the
solder.
