[Roadsters] the dreaded "extra part"

Hi gang,

between taking too long to get back started on the re-assembly of my
'68 2000 Solex, and, well, not documenting everything well enough,
I've ended up with the dreaded extra-part-on re-assembly, I'm afraid.

I put the heater box back together, or I thought, with the re-built
heater core and then on the bench I still saw this:
