Sadly, there weren't enough G Production racers this season,
so GP is not coming back as a 'national' class.
Many of the other small bore Production classes are facing the same
problem- just not enough people building and racing cars.
Part of it's the massification of modern cars- all but the smallest econoboxes
are TOO BIG to be raced safely at the club level...
They're probably topping out at 115mph at HPT, now that it's reconfigured...
mmm, that might be a bit high...

"duel for fourth place" with the '62 MGA. Bill was closing in for third during
the final laps before he hit the mud, and tagged the wall. He finished 5th, 2
places ahead of the MGA.
