[Roadsters] Miata vs stock seats (was "Re: X-Country")

A couple of years ago I drove from Salt Lake City to Barstow, CA (575 
miles), and then on to Solvang the next day (233 miles) in my '66 with stock 
seats and a tightly rolled pillow beneath the small of my back. The route 
back was Solvang to St. George, UT (506 miles), then back to Salt Lake City 
the following day (302 miles), still with my trusty pillow. I probably 
walked a little funny at first, and the post-drive pain killer I picked up 
at liquor stores along the way helped, but in all , it wasn't too bad.
