Cool trip in a Roadster!! I find about 5 hours in Roadster seats are
all my rear can handle. I would love to make a trip like yours in a
Roadster - now that is true motoring!!
Thanks for sharing!

It appears to me that my emails have not been reaching the list -
inasmuch as I have not been receiving copies of emails I have sent.
Has anyone received anything (other than personally referenced) since
about November 25th or so.
You should have received at least 3.
If anyone would like more details (assuming they have been missed)
please let me know.
Anyhoo,I am back. After 8500+ miles - Eliza is dirty (but not too much
so, thank god she is silver and not black ) - don't know that i would
have attempted such a trip in anything contemporary british (foreign) (
speaking as a brit ) - she held up fine - muffler problems , bit of
misfiring at @3200
(occasionally) - but overall what an amazing tribute to japanese
engineering.
Smooth, reasonably powerful (1600), good roadholding (panasports), 5
speed really makes a difference and personally, not to be attempted
wihout the benefit of miata seats, that in my humble opinion is an area
that Datsun could have been better at.
So now I am in a quandry - when to clean her up - she needs to wear the
patina of having done what she has done, but equally I don't want her to
be a DIRTY car. I think I will leave her as she is (patinad (sp?) until
the new year and then do some SERIOUS detailing.
So, I have stuff to do, upgrade the lights ( they don't illuminate
deers/elks at 100 paces), rebuild the suspension (pulls to the left)
