I suggest that you should speak to an artist, or if there is one 
nearby, an art supply store staff person.  It is far more likely that 
someone in this profession can provide what you need and probably do 
the work for you - if you want a proper job.  If that's not 
important, a normal paint supply store could work from a suitable 
sample to create a good replication of the colour in either and oil 
base or latex paint.

If the required look is not solid colour, but the kind of mottled 
finish found on a lot of bakelite, the artist is your best bet.  You 
might also try people who specialize in refinishing faux wood 
dashboards and interior trim typical of US cars of the '20s to '40s.
