BMW owns the Triumph name so it would be more like a Beemer roadster 
with a TR plate.  Kind of like those Beemers running around with Mini 
tags.

BMW had the Rover name.  Ford bought it from BMW to assure no similar 
name vehicle competition.  The Rover name went to Tata as part of the sale.
