[Bricklin] AC question

Thanks, Chris. One advantage of having been a long time Bricklin owner is that
I have had to make most all the common repairs!
I wrote an article that appeared in The Brickline a few issues ago describing
in detail how to replace the AC compressor. If you want to stick with the
original style compressor, it is a York T210L. That was used on many Fords
from the 70s and 80s. A direct replacement is a Four Seasons 58064. You can
get one at most any parts store or on Ebay. A brand new one is typically in
the $200-$300 range.
If you want to save money, it isn't hard to do the work yourself. The only
exotic tool you need is a vacuum pump. Many parts stores will loan you one.
You will probably want to convert to Freon 134a since R-12 is so expensive
these days and requires a license to buy. You can get cans of freon 134a at
any parts store or Sam's Warehouse sells the big tanks.

Subject: [Bricklin] AC question
Hey all.
Really great to see some action happening on here lately.
I would like to just give a public thank you to Scott L. He's been a wealth
of knowledge, and a tremendous amount of help. Thanks Scott!
I need to replace the AC compressor on my 75. Any suggestions? What's a donor
car, what's the quickest, and most importantly, cheapest way to go about
this?
Thank you guys!
