After doing my engine rebuild I found out that I needed to use a zinc additive on the new cam, without it it would flatten to cam and have to be replaced. I have added zinc to a couple of oil changes. Do I need to continue using an additive for the life of the car or is there a point where this is no longer required? Greg 0036
