[Bricklin] Driver window glass/extreme heat issue

In addition to replacing the seal that John mentions, it helps to put header
wrap around the exhaust pipes in this area. That cuts down the heat transfer
from those. You can also put insulation under the carpet. Even doing all that
though, you'll still get a fair bit of heat transfer. That's just typical for
a Bricklin.

Sorry to hear that!!  I hope he's insured.  Last price I heard was
$500+.  The only place I can thing of is
to try Terry Tanner or Bob Hoffman.

Very common.  The rubber gasket to seal the opening that the ebrake
fits in is shot.  The heat is coming
from the engine and the 2 exhaust pipes that run right under the
center of the car.  Terry has a High
Temp seal/gasket for the ebrake.
