[Bricklin] headlight upgrade?

Hello to all
Has anyone upgraded to halogen headlights?  Terry says the wiring harness is
marginal and to watch out the amps aren't too high.  My plan is to order a
harness and 7" halogens.  Has anyone had any problems doing this?

Alternately I was contemplating mounting small (2") driving lights under the
bumper so I can see at night.

Thoughts?
