Any member has a sound Motorcraft 2150 they would be willing to part from? Failing that, what other kind of carburetor have some of you fitted to your Windsor engines? That was the era when the engineers really had to struggle to get engines to meet pollution requirements and drivability and fuel economy often suffered. So I replaced it with a Holley that Terry recommended and that has served me well the past 20 years or so. When I get back home, I will look for a model number. It is a fairly common aftermarket Holley 2 barrel. I may still have the original Motorcraft carb in a box somewhere too. I'll look. The holley is a simple design easy to get parts for and it will fit on without any troubles . > From: breton48 at live.com > To: Bricklin at autox.team.net > Date: Thu, 24 Nov 2011 15:21:02 -0700 > Subject: Re: [Bricklin] Motorcraft 2150 carburetor > > Hi... this morning I took the carburetor off my 75 SV1 to rebuild it - and > promptly found out the main housing is cracked. I also talked to Terry Tanner, and ordered the Holley carburetor he recommended. That means I have a NAPA rebuild kit for a Motorcraft 2150 I don't need. Anybody needs one?
