Subject: [Bricklin] Signs

Just came back from Hershey and spotted two signs at what I thought was a high
price. A NEW service sign double sided new with the box about 12" X 36" for
$1000  and a LARGE Bricklin sign , just the face used about 5' high by 15'  (I
didn't take a tape to either so just a good guess) $500. You needed a flat bed
to haul the big one. It was near my friends spot , he called me and told me
about it and even he commented that it would not fit in his LWB Chev and it
was bigger than his big roof carrier.
Oh well Hershey is over and I am sure he toke the signs home along with his
Hummer signs.

I mentioned ot a guy who works at a junk yard I go to on oaccaiosn that I was
getting a Bricklin and he said that the  car dealership he works at for his
main job was a Bricklin dealer (in the Chicago area) and that they still had a
sign there saying they were a Bricklin Service center! Should take my car there
to se if they will work on it

Hi....  came back from a drive in Colorado Springs this morning, and the
engine was intermittently missing on the way back. I checked the air
filter/carburetor, and noticed the fuel in the carburetor was boiling.
Outside temperature was about 65 degrees, and I was driving at a  moderate
speed (under 60 mph).  I changed or touched nothing on the car since its
last run, when I had no problems. The engine temperature was below 190
degrees. 

Have any of you experienced that problem?

Sounds like the heat flap in your exhaust manifold has stuck closed ( Called a
heat riser valve)?
It has a counterweight on the end of the shaft that should flip back and forth
with your fingertip.
I would check this first..
If it is stuck, remove it and remove the butterfly part and just reinstall
it.
