I sprayed starter fluid into the 2 carbs and that did not work ( because no spark ) the car tries to turn over but nothing happens. It has a new battery and new lead cables. New fuel filter/line. New spark plugs that have been checked for 25 gap. Distributor cables look and feel brand new. No fuses have been blown...unless the MG has 2 fuse boxes and I only see one.

The problem started as I was nearing empty on gas and it chugged a few times and stalled once.
