I give to various charities and don’t expect anything back. Often, charities have fund raising dinners accompanied by a silent auction and yes, I have to pay for my own dinner and frequently asked to sponsor an entire table…..imagine that. So a 15 or 20 dollar donation to show my cars, have some fun, see other cars and friends and, help a charity that I want to support, seems like a bargain. Yes, car shows as fundraisers are overdone. I just pick the ones that are for causes of interest to me….including the free ones. In this case, due to the logistics, I am not going to Clearfield.
