Unfourtunately I havn't found any mechanics I trust for very much. For that reason I usually do most of my own maintenance and repairs. If you have the basic tools (or can trailor/tow it to my place) and can work around my crazy busy schedule, I would be happy to help you drop the oil pan to have a look. If it is only making noise over 2k rpm, I would lean towards a bad valve spring, or something along those lines.
