Lee,After owning a few Lotus cars I assure you these parts are made specific to the task. Many nylon parts are used to prevent things like excessive stress to fiberglass parts etc. to source these parts try companies dedicated to Lotus cars like Dave Bean engineering in California.Cheers,Rob

Do the nuts need to be plastic? If not then that would open up your options. Otherwise perhaps somewhere like fastenal might be of help. They certainly would have a larger selection than Lowes etc.

currently redoing the headlight buckets. There are two adjusters in each 
bucket. On one of mine, both of the nylon (or plastic?) nuts that fit 
into the headlight bucket are broken. Does anyone know if these are 
available? I've checked the local parts stores and the ones that they 
have are WAY too big. All I really need is the nylon part, I still have 
both of the screws.
