Don't forget this tour. It's a good one.
Program your DVR to record Conference, if you need to, and head south for what may be one of the last good weekends of the season.
The local colors are about as good as they are going to be.

Mount Nebo Fall Colour Tour 2013 Saturday October 5For this year’s fall Colour tour we will renew a BMCU tradition ofcircumnavigate Mount Nebo. We will stop for a picnic on route at Bear Creek, so plan on bringing a lunch or picking something up on the way. Also, better bring some warm clothing as it may be cooler at the higher elevations. Due to the distance we will meet at 8:30 AM at the parking lot of the R.C. Willey Clearance Outlet 9000 South and RedwoodRoad . We will leave at 9AM. DirectionsWe will go south on Redwood toLehi (SR-68) and continue south alongthe west side of Utah Lake to Elberta, then go east on US-6 to Goshen, thensouth through Goshen canyon on SR-141. This is a great road but watch for pot holes. We will then proceed along the westshore of Mona Lake and on into Nephiand Walker Bros. Phillips 66 / Wendy'struck stop at SR-132, where we willmake a short stop. Those who didn't bring alunch for the later picnic stop at Bear Creek can getfood for the picnic at Wendy's or the truck. After this stop we will go east on SR-132 until the turn for Nebo loop. We will go north onto the Mt. Nebo Loop, stoppingat Bear Creek for a picnic. After lunch we will continuingover the loop which emerges at Santaquincanyon in Payson. From there everyone is on their own tour for the triphome. It's a great drive, likely to be a littlechilly at the higher elevations, so remember to bring warm gear. Thanks to Paul who directions for the 2006 tour I shamelessly plagiarized. Kevin Cowan
