Its not a bugeye – that would be real treat a great find ! Its the MG / 
Austin traditional design ....

As to fitting the MGB engine – there is clearly some creative (but well 
crafted) metal work in the foot well areas to accommodate the bigger bell 
housing - I will verify in the am if the engine is frozen ..

NEVER HEARD OF ANYONE PUTTING A B ENGINE IN A SPRITE WITH ALL THE OTHER MORE
