Absolutely! I the entry list so far is at a record high. Should be the best year ever. And everyone should consider entering the 130 club event at World of Speed. Actually running on the race course for speed is a must for any auto enthusiast! Even if your car can’t make the 130 mark it is still a wonderful experience to be an actual competitor on the salt! Motorcycles are also welcome to enter.

Ron,

Thanks for this notification/reminder. Seeing the cars and motorcycles run on the Salt Flats is something that should be on everyone's Bucket List.

Just a reminder to everyone that Speedweek starts on August 10th and runs through the 16th. Remember, the first days of Speedweek are the best time to come (before the competitors start to head home) although it is just about impossible to find a room on that first weekend. Always available camping space at the “bend in the road” camping area on the access road to the salt.

And World of Speed will be on September 7 – 10. This is the Utah Salt Flats Racing Association event which, besides the regular racing classes and course, you can enter any car and run the 130 course (1 mile of acceleration before the traps).

Hope to see you there!
