Boy, when I posted my question about a down pipe I had no idea I would receive such an outpouring of help.  Thanks to everyone for everything.

Rich gave me a tip that proved very effective when he steered be towards The Roadster Factory.  They did in fact have a downpipe for a 77 and is was inexpensive too!  It was also the last one they had in stock.  They informed me that the company who made them are now out of business.  I got pretty lucky.  Thanks, Rich!


That was so successful maybe someone out there can help me with this next one.  I'm looking for a few replacement body parts for the 77 MGB now.  

1) The old girl looks like she took a small bump in the front right corner of and trying to tap it back into place is just not working, so I need a new passenger side front fender. 

2) The boot lid is torqued a bit too hard by the single boot support.  It's actually torn the metal across the inside of the lid.

3) Lastly I'm looking for a replacement bonnet.  The one I have has taken a few too many hits to the head.  Since I'm dropping those rubber bumpers for a new shiny chrome one, I'm thinking you'll likely see how bad off the hood is when it's right up next to that beautiful new chrome grill.

So, if anyone has a cannibalized MG that still has a little meat on it's bones, I'd love to take one or all of these parts off your hands... for a fair price of course.  ;)
