[Bmcu] Moab trip report

All BMCUer'S,

As I looked at all the great photos of the Moab and Colorado trip, it  
brought back wonderful memories of the BMCU. As one of the original co- 
founders of the group, I could not have been any more pleased and  
proud than to see the original spirit of this club still being  
maintained by you adventuresome folks who actually still drive these  
LBC's so many years later. I am sure that Bill VanMoorhem must feel  
exactly the same way. I can not explain the gratification that your  
Moab photos and story gave me. Thanks for keeping all of this alive. I  
am attaching a photo of my 1960 TR-3A from last summer at the VTR  
Breckenridge meet as well. It was on the very first BMCU run.....and I  
am still driving it constantly. My son Brent who filmed the first BMCU  
event from the jump seat of the TR, flew out to Albuquerque last  
summer and we drove that TR about 1200 miles to and in the annual VTR  
meet.......and more importantly.....back to ABQ!!!! These are still  
great automobiles..........used by even more wonderful friends and  
colleagues from Utah. Incidentally, Brent was 16 years old back in  
1988.......and he no longer fits in the jump seat!!!! Lillian was not  
able to go due to the health problems of her Mom back in NJ.......but  
she also rode along in spirit with us.
