Yes indeed . . . and it was a 7,000 lb. LBC.  Campbell retired from land speed racing after that then went out and set the water speed record.  His son, Donald set the wheel driven mark at 403 then went out and killed himself trying to increase his own water record much as another Brit,  John Cobb had done years before.

The ultimate speed at Bonneville was set by Gary Gabelich in October of 1970 at 622 MPH, the last World Land speed record to be established at Bonneville.

...in other words the first absolute world speed record set at Bonneville was done so in a LBC (well, not quite little) on September 3rd.
