[Bmcu] Pull a TR7 from the grave?

A friend of mine and I were talking and when he found out that I have an 
MGB he mentioned that he has a TR7 sitting out back that hasn't moved 
since his son left it there with a bad engine.

I know a fair about MGBs, but haven't poked a Triumph.  How available 
are the parts for these cars?  Are there rebuilt engines in the area?  I 
haven't mentioned this to my friend yet, he just mentioned it in 
passing, but his comment has stuck with me a bit.
