[Bmcu] 82 Leyland Mini Alternator.

I've got an '82 mini, and as far as i can tell it is bad. I know they aren't
experts in minis at all but i took it in to autozone to have them test it.
Abviously my car wasn't in their computer but the closest i could find was
this one (it's a lucas part too):

It's listed for a mg midget and i thought that the mini's sometimes shared
parts with the midgets,sprites. Testing my alternator with this model
selected in the computer showed a fail.
Does anyone know if this part would work in my car? This is the part mini

But like i said my existing alt looks very much like the one from autozone.
Can anyone help me out?
