I agree with all Bill has to say, with one exception: I was the greatest
Newsletter Editor ever. Gary runs a close second!
Seriously, editing the newsletter was a great experience for me, however,
like Gary, after three or four years it is time to pass the baton to someone
else, and Gary took it and ran. Thank you, Gary!
Where are the creative people in this club?????

Did you know that the BMCU is one of the larger British car clubs in the
nation? If looking at members per capita, we are probably one of the largest
in the world.
Bruce is totally right on this one, folks. I served as GG for only a couple
years and enjoyed it immensely. The only reason I left the post is because
my job required me to move to southern CA. In addition, when the club needed
a new web site, I built the template still in use today and maintained it.
Mitch has been a great GG for years and deserves a break. Gary came to the
rescue of the newsletter and produced the best ever. My heart sank when I
saw the newsletter this month. It has always been the foundation of our
club. So, how is it that with the largest membership ever, no one can make
the time to spend a couple hours a week to make this a better club for all?
Are there not one or two members out there with a minimum amount of club
spirit to step up to the plate and save our club?

Very sad that a club of 300 and no one wants to step up to the plate and get
involved. The club of old was smaller and not as financially well but at
least
every year someone would step up and take the lead.
I hope someone will take the hint.
