[Bmcu] [TR] TR3A air cleaners

Speaking of air cleaners for a TR3:

The ones on my car are imprinted "G.U.D. A.G. 323"  There is also a logo
with GUD in a circle.  They are really dirty, I am soaking them now to try
to clean them but feel I probably need to replace them.  Are these TR3
original?  I want to find the real TR3 units, or at least a period option
that would be acceptable to a concours judge.

My question to the list is: Of all the air filter/cleaner units for sale out
there, which ones would be considered original or an available original
option to this car in 1958?  Right now I wouldn't know the real article if I
came across one anywhere.

With the 4A intake the KN air filters no longer fit next to the inner fender
on the front carb, also the factory air cleaners are too wide.
Anyone know of a thinner air filter for the H2 SU carbs.
I don't have a set of original TR4 ones, are they thinner?
