It never dawned on me that those lines might be taken as an address. Yes, I have an MG TC (Betsy) and an MG VA saloon. The VA is one of approx. 3000 VAs built just before WW2. VAs were available as 2-door4-seat tourers, as saloons, and as 2-door cabriolet 4-seaters. All three versions used a 1 1/2 liter engine. At the same time, MG was also offering the SA (2.3 liter six-cylinder) and the WA (2.6 liter six-cylinder), also in 3 body styles. The WA was the largest MG ever made, SA second-largest, VA third-largest.Regards,Carl FritzTC 6756VA 2009 Saloon Gainesville, Florida From: ak5chin at hotmail.comTo: carlmgtc at hotmail.comSubject: RE: You've received an answer to your question about item MGA 1500 USED FLAT-TOP PISTONS - USEDDate: Tue, 4 Mar 2008 10:44:05 -0700 Carl,The information under your name in your emails looks like an address - you have MGTC (#6756) & VA (#2009) Saloon - is the saloon another british car like a "vanden plas saloon"? Your payment hasn't arrived as yet - maybe pending but its not a problem - give it 24hrs. - then I'll email you if it hasn't shown up. Regards, John W. If you have any spare switchs, see if you have on hand. Will purchase outright, or can give you the car owners e-mail address for direct contact. I cut keys by code using american key blanks. When I attend British car shows, or locate a Auto re-cyle yard, will look for lock inserts with the letters/numbers on the face of the switch. Example; MRN, FNR, FA, FP or FS series or FA 576. Car shops and vendor who know me save this item for me. I can usually pick up at show for $1.00 to $3.00 each (no key). I can cut you a key for your car in a mutual exchange, or for any locks for Glove box locks or the Boot. Pete Groh PS, also looking for glove box locks for early Jaguar cars, or Nash Metropolitan cars. ____________________________________________________________________________________ Looking for last minute shopping deals? The wheels come with adaptors, knock-offs, lug nuts, inner tubes, and spacers for converting back and forth between wires and regular wheels. The splines are a little worn on a couple of the wheels and adaptors, and one wheel has very loose spokes. No spokes are broken, but several are bent. This set was working fine on the car except for the really loose one which made a "grunk grunk grunk" sound. The wheels were all repainted about five years ago, but they probably need some work now. The spare has a very old tire on it with some cracking in the rubber. The knock-offs are functional but not pretty. $100 obo.
