Bill,

If it is standard Alpine, it should loop, unbroken between the dizzy and the
coil, and pass through a brass attachment att he rear of the Tach. The other
wires are just for the light. I'm not sure what adaptor you would need for
electronic ignition, but would be interested to know, as I've fitted
electronic to my E-Type, and the tach is now all over the place.

I am finally wiring my tachometer, and have the correct wire from my MSD
lectronic ignition (with tach adapter), ready to run up to the tach and
hrough the hole in the back of it.  Once I come out of the tach, where do I
erminate the wire?  I have a late Series 5, negative ground.
