Hi Barry
Its not rated for current. The warning ligth simulator...
only runs the red ligth on the dash....
With the stock 10AC Alpine alternator the regulator is
solid state and has no internal relays. If you can't find
/ don't want to trust the lLcas regulator you can use almost
any american external alternator regulator.
The warning light simulator was a bass ackwards attempt to save
a few cents on some diodes in the alternator.. The Lucas part was a heat
operated relay and was even less reliable than normal Lucas stuff.
The standard
american alternator solves the warning light problem much more eligantely.
If you want a working improvment that looks
stock there are published transistor circuites
you can build into an old warning light simulator housing.
