Make sure that the spring returns the throttle linkage to the full stop position. If the spring is weak, shorten or replace the spring. <div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Hi Folks,</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">I have a strange idle issue with my 74 stock Stromberg carb TR6. When driving and come to a stop the idle is high, around 1,100 RPM. Blipping the throttle does nothing, but if i quickly pull the choke out and push it back in it drops to around 800 RPM and stays there.
